OUR STORY
Wasans was born out of a desire to create fashion pieces that merge tradition with innovation. From our carefully sourced materials to the meticulous attention to detail in our designs, every Wasan product is crafted to stand the test of time, just like the people who wear them.
A Legacy of Excellence
Established by the late Mr. K.N. Wasan in the year 1930, and further advanced by his sons, the late Mr. Deepak Wasan and the late Mr. Sushil Wasan, the Wasan Group has become one of North India's foremost corporate leaders in the leather industry. As trailblazers in exporting shoe uppers, the company has broadened its product offerings over the years to include complete shoes, leather garments, textile apparels, bags, belts, and accessories.
Diversified Operations
With its first headquarters located in Agra, home of the Taj Mahal, the group expanded to New Delhi in 1989. While its trading section in New Delhi meets the ever-changing demands of the fashion industry and represents various European, Australian, and worldwide brands for their sourcing needs in India, Wasan's still operates its tannery and shoe manufacturing operations in Agra today.
Family‐Run with Modern Management
The sons of the late Mr. Deepak Wasan oversee the operations of the Wasan group, a closely held family firm that is currently in its fourth generation. Mr. Pradip Wasan is in charge of the shoe Division and leather tannery. The Buying house & trading division is headed by Mr Jatinder Wasan & Mrs Aditi Wasan, which oversees leather garments, suits, knits, wovens, accessories, home goods, and handicrafts.
